the overall video quality is good. the mounting to my motorcycle is sketchy

Summary: the image and camera stabilization needs improving for the riding I am doing. some file transferring issues but that may be my lack of apple experience as well. We will test the underwater abilities when the weather warms up.
Summary: Great camera , I like it better than go pro - easier to operate from on helmet while riding. Have to look in the rear view mirror to operate the go-pro and it has multiple buttons to push too. Midland is one touch, one simple no guessing operation.
Summary: I own two of these, three if you count my XTC-100 SD as well. I've used them helmet-mounted, and now I have one on the steering neck, and one rear facing under the seat on my mountain bike. Both are mounted on custom brackets I made using the extra cam bracket that it comes attached to in the box. As you can imagine, they take a beating mounted solid to the bike, yet they've worked flawlessly.
Summary: I bought this camera specifically for recording my SCUBA dives. First off, the waterproof case is either a newer case or has been re-rated for a depth of 200ft. That is very good as the previous 100ft rating was a little worrisome. So far I have taken this camera down to a depth of 94ft. No problems, not even a drop of water inside the case. I have been on 6 dives with the camera so far, all recorded at 1080p. The video quality is good. No complaints there.

Summary: The last field review, Midland has a long history of good quality products ,that last and are dependable ,for the long haul. I like the way this Midland 1080 HD Video Camera comes ,with all of the mounts, and other viewing stuff. This unit takes good video footage ,and is very simple to operate. The images are bright and crisp , when you play it back, on computer or tv. Mounting it to a gun or bow ,is a challenge, and might take some ingenuity.
Summary: This is a peice of junk, Don't spend your cash on this it worked for about 20 mins then craped out. A christmas gift that that was a big let down. The camera has way more con's than pro's Con's ZERO features. The fisheye lens is a cheap way to hide camera short falls (over distortion) Once again here is a product that can't live up to it's brand name or message Cheap components and bad electronics.
Summary: High price, poor battery life and optics are clear but useless to the average hunter/shooter/ adventurist. I used this during the archery season and was really disappointed in the battery life. I think I got about 4 hours recording time before it died. Recording a deer at 20 yards is like seeing one with the naked eye at 60 yards. Pretty much useless if you expect to see arrow flight or anything with detail. Unable to see the rack on a deer less than 20 yards.
