“As easy as pie” comes to mind as the Canon MV700 comes out of the box. The only thing you need to do right out of the box is turn it on. No complicated manual to read first, which should make men very happy, knowing how hard it is to get men to read instructions anyway; just pull it out and turn it on. “As easy as pie” comes to mind as the Canon MV700 comes out of the box. The only thing you need to do right out of the box is turn it on. No complicated manual to read first, which should make men very happy, knowing how hard it is to get men to read instructions anyway; just pull it out and turn it on. But not only is it easy to use, it is ergonomically efficient and just glides into your open palm waiting to be caressed as you push the power button. As if to perpetuate the attention it wants, there is no remote control to distract your attention; it can all be spent with your ‘hands on.” Looking at its silvery skin compels the user to hold it delicately, flip open the view screen and watch the magic show it can produce.

For a camera in its price range this is a beauty. Although it sacrificed a few features to get the price where it is, it still boasts of an 18X zoom and also a manual focus ring; things you wouldn’t expect on a camera in this price range. One of the sacrificed features is the built-in video light for night time shooting. There are no editing features or some of the other features avid video shooters desire, but then they are not paying for them either. This camera is worth every bit what it is sold for. All the controls are right where you would expect them to be when hold this princess in your hand; right under your fingers and easy to access. I should also mention that the menu available is navigation intuitive and has 8 different languages in its databanks. Two recording speeds, 2.5 inch viewer and only .5 kg in weight!
