Features

The Panasonic DP-8045 features Double-Sided workflow with Double Exposure + Digital Skyshot which allow copying of double-sided documents. It offers Proof Copy feature which creates a sample set for error checking before committing to a mass-copying job. This copier has a LCD graphical user interface, adjustable panel and easy to lift ADF which is said to be disabled friendly type of machine. In addition to this, this copier offers Device Monitor software which allows current status of the copier to be shown. It features Network Scanner and Scan-to-Email functions which allows scanning and sending of color or monochrome digital documents as emails attachments in PDF, JPEG and TIFF form from the LCD touch panel. This copier offers up to 1000 email addresses to be programmed in the machine’s local address book. In addition to this, if a company is running on an LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) server, this copier allows access to the company’s database and retrieves desired recipient email addresses from the LCD touch panel. The copier scans documents directly onto an SD or PC Card for PC transfer. This copier allows documents to be scanned directly to a PC or FTP sever at a quality of 600 dpi resolutions. The Panasonic DP-8045 features Hard Disk Data Erasing which overwrites image data with zeroes or random data for each completed job. This function has a user authentication which uses the same user names and passwords registered in the Windows Active Directory serve database. In addition to this, the Network Accounting software collects and tabulates log information data such as number of prints, scans, copies and faxes which keeps track of machine usage by department or individual.
