Onkyo DX-7355

The Onkyo DX-7355 is a CD player that weighs 4.4 kilograms and has dimensions of 435 x 81 x 315 mm (Width x Height x Depth). The unit is built with high-rigidity Anti-Resonant Chassis to Reduce Vibrations and brushed hairline aluminium front panel.

Features

Its features include being able to play audio CDs, MP3 encoded CDs as well as CD-R and CD-RW. The player uses Vector Linear Shaping Circuitry (VLSC) to reduce digital noise by converting data between sampling points and these points are joined with analogue vectors in real time. Its digital-to-analogue converter is a Wolfson® (WM8716) 192 kHz/24-Bit DAC which produces a reproduction of standard and high-definition audio formats, including Dolby® TrueHD and DTS-HD® Master Audio. Apart from that, the device utilizes large power transformers to provide consistent power as well as audiophile-grade capacitors. The player comes with two digital outputs (Coaxial and Optical) which allow the user to connect to an external digital processor or amplifier. The headphone jack on the device has a volume control function. In addition to that, the DX-7355 has Quick Navigation for MP3 CD Playback. There are various preferences can be selected to help the user to find and play back MP3 content burnt to CD-R and CD-RW. Group mode allows the user to select a folder and then an MP3 track from that folder. In Navigation mode, MP3 tracks can be selected by moving through the folder hierarchy. The search button on the remote control may also be used to select MP3 tracks and folders by number. Quick navigation helps the user to locate and play back selections from a disc. The player has four play modes (MP3 CD only]/Memory/Random/Normal) and a 25-step memory playback. Total Harmonic Distortion at one kilohertz is o.0029% and the audio dynamic range is specified to be 100 dB. Its frequency response ranges between 4 hertz to 20 kilohertz. The DX-7355 comes with one RI remote control.
