Features

The player uses a Proprietary AccuPulse Quartz System for its digital-to-analogue converter with single-bit Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) technology. This generates zero cross-distortion and improves non-linearity. It also features a unique Next Selection Feature. The system can conduct Peak-Level search via remote, which scans the disc for the highest sound level and has a 36-track random memory. Apart from that, there are also five repeat modes: Full, Single, Memory, Shuffle and A-B. Its headphone jacks are equipped with volume control there are two optical digital outputs. The Memory Reverse (Program Delete) function allows the user to store tracks in the memory on top of the previous contents. The system’s reading rotation runs at a rate of about 500 to 200 r.p.m.(constant linear velocity). Its linear velocity can be between 1.2 to 1.4 metres per second. The error correction system uses a Cross Interleave Reed-Solomon code and the sampling frequency is specified to be 352.8 kilohertz (8 times oversampling). The frequency response on this device ranges from 5 hertz to 20 kilohertz and there are two stereo channels. Total Harmonic Distortion is stated to be 0.005% at one kilohertz. The dynamic range for the DX-7333 is 96 dB. Signal to noise ratio is 90 dB and channel separation is 85 dB at one kilohertz. Furthermore, the Wow and Flutter is set below the threshold of measurability. Also, the output level of the player is 2 volts r.m.s and its power consumption when in use is 9 watts.
