Marantz CD6002

The Marantz CD6002 is a CD player that employs OSE CD player special series technology. It weighs in at 4.7 kilograms and its measurements are 440 x 283 x 87 mm (Width x Height x Depth). It is built with a metal front panel and metal chassis. It is available in silver or black.

Features

It is compatible with CD DA as well as CD-R and CD-RW discs and it also features playback of MP3 and WMA files. Apart from that is CD Text compatible and therefore, can display track titles and artist names. The player has an oversized transformer that is used to stabilize power supply. Its display off function works to minimize high frequency noise interference. Also, it has customized audio components. It uses standard or current feedback HDAM for the audio circuitry. In addition to that, the Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) is specified as 0.002 %. Channel separation is stated to be 100 dB. The player’s power consumption when in use is 19 watts. The stereo audio outputs are gold plated and the user has the option of using a coaxial digital connector or an optical digital output. Moreover, the system comes with headphones volume control as well as a detachable power cord. There is also a dedicated remote control and Marantz D-bus.
