In terms of playback format, the Denon DCD-700AE supports Hybrid-SACD in CD and stereo, CD digital audio, CD-R and CD-RW digital audio. Its construction is made up of one transformer, an original DENON mechanism drive with central assembly drawer unit and selected parts which vary according to different countries. As for its digital section, it allows for ALPHA processing as well as AL24 processing. Besides that, it also has a high-accuracy master clock oscillator of Pure Direct ON and a 24-bit 193 kHz D/A converter of Burr Brown PCM 1791. Other features include programmable playback of up to 25 tracks, MP3 playback, WMA playback and pitch control (+/- 12 % in 0.1 %) which applies also for MP3 and WMA. As for the display, it has the ability to show information regarding pitch control status, MP3 and WMA track as well as artist information. The Denon DCD-700AE also has a display dimmer which allows you to dim the display lights according to the mood. Other than that, it also allows random play, repeat functions which include track, disc and A to B, pure direct modus, digital output shut off and an RC-1032 remote control.
