Among the KD-AVX44 main features is Bluetooth Wireless Technology which provides hands-free calls, voice recognition dialing, audio streaming and SMS message notification with compatibility devices (mobile phone or PDA). With AA-T100BT Bluetooth transmitter, user can also stream music from iPod. Besides that, user also can connect iPod to the unit’s USB port with the iPod dock connector or with an optional KS-U20 cable and enjoy music with full speed transfer. In addition, this USB connector is expandable to allow playback from multiple digital audio player and portable HDD. Moreover, it is compatible with multiple formats including AAC, MP3, WMA, WAV for audio files; and also video and image files in DivX, JPEG and MPEG formats. This system is a DivX® Ultra Certified product, and can play PC-created DivX® video files from a USB memory or DVD/CD. This receiver also features a multilingual display, with GUI text and MP3 tags available in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, and Russian. User is also able to choose from twelve different colours for each four wall paper types. Besides that, it also features GIGA MP3 MULTI which enables MP3, WMA, and even WAV files burned on DVD playback. It also built with 5.1ch DTS Digital Surround and 5.1ch Dolby Digital decoder, which lets you create a realistic sound field onboard. Dolby Pro Logic II offers the same audio excitement for 2-channel stereo sources. Another feature offered is Dual-Zone function which enables user to separate monitor (for two or more monitors in car); which means that rear-seat passengers can enjoy DVD’s while the driver listen to the radio up front. Through JVC’s Headphone Surround technology installed in the system, it creates virtual ‘room reverberations,’ which makes the sounds like real surround sound in a large room. Besides that, there is an optional rear-view camera offered for safety.
