The Pioneer PRS-D1200M is a mono channel Class-D amplifier with a maximum output power of 1 x 800W (4Ω) or 1 x 1200W (1Ω/2Ω). Its continuous power output (RMS) is 1 x 400W at 14.4V (20Hz-240Hz/4Ω) or 1 x 600W at 14.4V (100Hz/2Ω). The unit’s load impedance capability is 1 - 8Ω (≥2Ω bridged; external) with a 10 - 240 Hz frequency response and less than 0.03 (100 kHz/4Ω) % distortion. Its signal-to-noise ratio is 92 dB with a low/high pass filter of 40-240 Hz (-18dB/oct). The unit’s subsonic filter is at a 20 Hz (-18dB/oct) capacity). The unit has an input level control RCA (400mV - 6.5V) (Low) SP (1.6V - 26V) (High) which is switchable and has a current consumption of 39 A (4Ω). The unit measures 3304 x 56 x 195 mm and weighs 2.8 kg.

Features

The Pioneer PRS-D1200M features gold-plated screw-type speaker terminals with line input sensor. The PRS-D1200 includes a Bass Boost (for a selection of 0, 6, 9 or 12 dB bass level). The unit also features a Subsonic Select Switch, which cuts inaudible frequencies below 20Hz to eliminate unwanted vibrations and minimise power loss. The amplifier also features gold-plated terminals to allow hook up a subwoofer without any power distortion. It can also be linked with other amps in a ‘master-slave’ set-up. Adjustments that are made to the master amplifier are automatically made to all other connected slave amplifiers. The PRS-D1200M also features an anti-resonance H-shaped chassis, without compromising power output and audio quality levels. The unit has a top plate that rotates 180 degrees to suite mounting direction and speaker line input sensor that automatically detects speaker cables which allows for connecting them directly to the amplifier without a relay or other connections.
