The 8X42HG L DCF is designed with Nikon’s exclusive field flattener lens and eyepiece design that delivers sharp and clear images to the lens periphery. Besides that its original multilayer coating attains a high light transmission rate across a wide range of wavelengths and reduces flare and ghosts for excellent colour reproduction. It also features phase-correction-coated roof prisms deliver high resolution. The prisms feature a high-reflection silver coating to provide brighter images. The high-eye point design provides a clear field of view, even for eyeglass wearers. It also includes a soft-touch silicon rubber eyecup. It also features turn-and-slide rubber eyecups with multi-click adjustment facilitate easy positioning of eyes at the correct eye point.
