It plays DVDs, CDs, MP3, WMA music, radio, JPEG files and iPod players can be directly docked into this micro HiFi. With the touch of button, audio CDs can also be transferred to MP3 or USB allowing music to be enjoyed anywhere at anytime. The package contains three pieces — two 13cm (W) x 30cm (H) speakers (the right height to fit on many bookshelves) and the central control unit. CDs and DVDs are loaded through a vertical ballot-style slot on the unit's top. The FB163 can play DVD movies and DivX video files, and connection to a television is handled by a variety of outputs. Supports formats such as DivX and MPEG-4 for playback.

Features

The LG FB163 has many features and one such is the one-touch USB recording. When the user plugs a USB stick into the socket at the front of the system and press the USB record button on the top immediately records the tracks on an audio CD will be copied as 128Kbps MP3s. To play, pause and navigate through tracks, you can either use the remote control or press lightly on the glowing, touch-sensitive circular control on the front face of the stereo. Swirling your finger around the inside of the circle adjusts the volume. It has standard inclusions like the radio and alarm clock with the iPod dock with two input modes, old iPod and “iPod OSD”. In the first mode, the player's battery won't be charged when it is docked, but menus can be navigated on the iPod itself, and tracks can be played, paused and skipped via the remote control.
