In the world of inexpensive A/V receivers, the Yamaha RX-V361 is everything an entry-level AV receiver should be and then some. A total of 500 total watts (into five channels), Dolby Digital and DTS decoders built in, and component switching at this price make it hard to find much to complain about. I used the IPOD feature on the front almost everyday. It is xm radio ready but I don't have xm. You can tell that the sound quality of these larger receivers is always superior when you compare the two. If you want great sound quality from digital cables, this Yamaha is the way to go. Everything else I saw was to expensive or to poor quality for the cheap price. This receiver has a nice color on the front display of dark orange that is nice at night. It was a good buy...
